Surfing Teahupo'o with Sarah Leiceaga

You have been to Tahiti recently, how was it?

It was an amazing experience, the people out there and the vibes were so much fun! I also had the pleasure to see beautiful waves out there at Teahupo'o and I had a really great time with the team!

You surfed an amazing wave in Teahupo'o, how did you feel?

It was just incredible; I couldn’t describe the feeling with words, but I just know that at the end of the wave I was crying tears of joy! I was so lucky to find myself there at the same time as Raimana (@raimanaworld) and his help was so precious, I’m so thankful.

Tell us, what was your daily routine there?

It’s simple, I woke up at 6 am, had breakfast and then surfed all day long with the team Pole France Surf. When there weren’t waves, we trained or went visiting the town.

What was your favorite part of the trip?

Obviously, my favorite part of the trip was the last two days, when the swell came in and so we went to Teahupo'o. I have to admit I was scared at first but with the help of the team, I made it and had the best feeling of my life!

Lastly, what does a bikini-kinda-life mean to you?

For me, a bikini-kinda-life means never leaving your bikini all day long, staying salty and always being on the water surfing or close to it, on the beach. And of course always be happy, enjoying life and the sun!!
